In March 1986, we named her “Best Game-Show Hostess”; she posed for a Playboy Gallery gatefold in our July 1986 issue and was at the top of the Sex Stars of 1986 (Playboy, December 1986). In May 1987, we put her on our cover and published pre-Wheel lingerie pictures taken by fashion photographer David Gurian in 1982. Vanna had become a star of sound stage, screen and the American man’s favorite magazine.
